WELLNESS TIPS - For range of motion exercises for the neck

Do each exercise in the order listed, five times once a day.  Start by standing or sitting comfortably erect.  Return to starting position after each exercise.  Don't force movement past the point of discomfort.
 

1.  For relaxation, hunch your shoulders up high.

2.  Put your chin down to your chest.

3.  Bend your head backward as far as you can, so you can see the ceiling directly above your head.

4.  Turn your head to the right trying to bring your chin over your right shoulder.

5.  Turn your head to the left trying to bring your chin over your left shoulder.
6.  Try to bring your left ear down to your left shoulder.

7.  Try to bring your right ear down to your right shoulder.

8.  Roll your head counterclockwise in as wide a circle as you can.
